This policy covers the hadtechconsulting.com website only. Each product in the catalogue has its own privacy policy and data processing agreement, available from within the application concerned.

What we collect

This site collects only what you type into the contact form: name, email address, phone number, company, country, indicative budget and your message. We also record the page the enquiry was sent from and, where applicable, the campaign it came from, so we know which content generates enquiries.

No account is created on this site and no payment details pass through it: payments happen exclusively inside the applications, through FedaPay, in CFA francs (XOF).

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is used solely to handle and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the pre-contractual steps taken at your request: you contact us, we reply. We do not add you to any mailing list on that basis.

Retention periods

• Enquiry with no follow-up: three years from the last exchange, then deletion.
• Enquiry that becomes a commercial relationship: for the duration of that relationship, then the statutory retention period applicable to accounting and contractual records.
• Message identified as spam: deleted immediately.

Recipients and processors

Only the people at HAD TECH CONSULTING responsible for handling enquiries have access. The data is stored in our internal administration console. It is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

The following providers are involved, for these purposes only:

• OVHcloud (OVH Hosting Inc.)Hosting of the website and of the console that receives enquiries (Kimsufi dedicated server). Location: Canada, Beauharnois data center (Quebec).
• Google (Gmail / SMTP)Delivery of the alert email sent to our team for each enquiry. Location: United States (Google LLC).

Hosting in Canada and email delivery through a provider established in the United States involve a transfer outside Benin. These transfers are governed by those providers’ contractual commitments and limited to what the service requires.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no advertising cookie and uses no third-party profiling tracker. It sets no analytics cookie either. Should analytics be introduced, it would be configured without individual identification, and this page would be updated accordingly.

Security

Exchanges with this site are encrypted (HTTPS). Enquiries are transmitted to our console over a server-to-server channel authenticated by a shared secret, without passing through your browser. Access to the console is restricted to authorised accounts and the data is backed up regularly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. Write to support@hadtechconsulting.com: we reply within thirty days.

These rights are exercised under the Act no. 2017-20 of 20 April 2018 establishing the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin. If a disagreement persists, you may refer the matter to the APDP, Personal Data Protection Authority of Benin. For data subjects residing in the European Union, the GDPR applies and the remedy lies with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
