HAD TECH CONSULTING is a software studio based in Godomey, Abomey-Calavi. We publish 12 business tools and support companies across Africa as they move to digital.
Why we exist
Business software stayed a privilege
A ten-person company in Cotonou, Lomé or Abidjan has the same needs as a European one: knowing who is working, who owes what, and where each deal stands. But the software on offer is priced in euros per user, demands an international bank card, and is designed for an organisation they do not have.
So the notebook and the group chat carry on, with everything that gets lost along the way. We therefore built tools sized for these organisations: payable by Mobile Money, usable on an entry-level phone, and simple enough to be adopted without heavy training.
When none of our tools fits, we build the missing one. And when the right answer is not software at all, we say that too.
Useful before impressive
A tool that solves one specific problem beats a platform that promises everything and never gets adopted.

Made for the people using them
The end user is not an engineer. If a tool needs three days of training, it is badly designed.

Who is behind this
A team you can reach, in your own time zone
We work from Godomey, Abomey-Calavi. The people who build the tools are the ones who answer when you write: there is no support desk on the other side of the world, and no ticket waiting overnight to be read.
It also explains the shape of the products. We see the workshops, the shops and the practices that use them, and we fix what gets in the way where it gets in the way.
Where we work
Based in Benin, we work across the WAEMU region and remotely for organisations elsewhere in Africa. Our tools run in French and in English.
